I am convinced that while no longer a figment of my own or your own imagination, Drix is the embodiment of Hippocratic principles universal to adversity, healing, and the philosophy of selflessness and loyalty. To me, Drix represents the evolution of humanity's relationship with life, death, healing, and the efforts mankind has taken to curb their own fates once previously in the control of extraneous forces. Drix, and furthermore medicine, hold the key to deviate from our predetermined fates as humans subject indeterminately and inhumanely to the pain of our own earthly devices.
